| bbbBBBBBBBVICTOR HARBOR TUNA CHARTERS Victor Harbor has become a hotspot for catching the fabulous Southern Bluefin Tuna. We are excited to announce, that from this summer our vessel Obsession will be operating Tuna Charters from Victor Harbor instead of operating from Marion Bay. Even though we have conducted Tuna Charters from Victor Harbor and Cape Jervis in the past seasons, from this season Obsession will be permanently based in Victor Harbor. Obsession will be skippered by a local Master V and also by Mark. Obsession will cater for individuals and or groups of up to 10 people. Groups of up to 22 can be catered for with the use of our second vessel, Wild Cougar. While great for chasing tuna, running Obsession out of Victor Harbor we will also cater for bottom fishing, much like our charters from Marion Bay. Like Marion Bay charters once we are done with Tuna on the day we will go bottom fishing – depending on the booked trip. Planned trips available out of Victor Harbor are :- * 9 Hour Tuna Only * 9 Hour Tuna and Reef * 9 Hour Reef Only * Up to 4.5 Hour Tuna Only BBBBBBOR We are also able to customize a trip based on your preference. Our 9 hour charters can take you as far as the southern coast and the offshore reefs of Kangaroo Island. Obsession is the ideal game fishing boat as it has a walk around cabin, along with a huge deck area to fight that big fish from. At over 9 meters overall and built for the Tasmanian commercial fishing industry it is an ideal vessel for these waters. Obsession also has a side door for easy customer access to the vessel and for landing that big fish. Sporting twin 225 hp Yamaha outboards, we have a cruise speed around 22knts to 25knts which allows more time fishing and less time travelling. Charters will depart from the Victor Harbor boat ramp, Franklin Parade near the Bluff. When you arrive Obsession should already be in the water and tied up on the loading dock which is on the seaward side of the boat ramp. We will provide :- * Quality rods and reels – you are more than welcome to bring your Bown if you wish * All tackle * Ice on board – to keep your catch icy cold * Bait We do not provide :- * Food or drink You are more than welcome to bring along alcohol to drink in moderation – please remember about the sea conditions, drinking and seasickness Smoking is permitted on board but in a safe manner and away from other customers.
